The College of Acupuncturists of Alberta has the authority to approve acupuncture education programs. Individuals who obtain a credential from these programs satisfy section 3(a)(1) and 3(b)(1) of the Acupuncturists Profession Regulation.
Program approval status
Program approval is determined in accordance with the Acupuncture Education Program Review Policy and Procedure. The review process involves a comprehensive site visit to the education institution and its student clinic.
